



I also added critical hits to regular combat which only exist for sneak attacks in vanilla. I was inspired by classic WoW's glancing blow mechanic to introduce glancing blows as a replacement for misses. I agree with this opinion, but I also didn't want to replace it with a system that throws away dice rolling and/or completely rebalances the game. To many, it feels like something that should be in the control of the player. Many people dislike the original Morrowind combat system because constantly missing your target when you are aiming right at them feels unsatisfying. applies to all actors, not just the player crits are now a combat mechanic as well as a sneak mechanic
